Rick Ross On Tampa 95.7 Talks About 50 Cent
Rick Ross is very irritating with the way he is approaching the beef situation.
I understand that he makes good music, but so did Ja Rule you clown.
Hip Hop can't be understood by people that don't live Hip Hop.
The new "Dirty South" era isn't the true form of music that we loved when Outkast, Scarface, Trick Daddy and Cash Money flourished.
Today the game is filled with mercenaries with no passion for the game, the music is one thing but the feeling is another.
Granted Rick Ross is great for "gangsta quotes" like, "The monkey talk, that's girl talk... holla at me when you ready to talk like g's and do some gangsta shit."
"O by the way...We don't believe you ya need more people!"
This dude actually believes his character so much that he believes that he is the gangsta that Freeway Ricky Ross was; the real Rick Ross.
Rick Ross, where are your bodies at? Where are your bricks? I just want someone to vouch for you, a real nigga that will hold down your name in the street.
Sounds good on the radio Ross but where's the substance, where's your team of goons? I mean the boss doesn't do his own work right?
Why the beef Rick Ross? "It's Deeper Than Rap", he answers.
Uhhh, right but is it "Deeper Than Promotion"? I doubt it.
Ross, a lesson for you would be that in the music business your credibility is essential to success.
When it is apparent that your lying about your character (who the people really love not you) then your presence loses its luster.
You will lose that mystic that comes with the heavy voice and larger than life production you receive on records.
Trust me 50 is trying to fuck up your image, your vehicle for your message, and it will work.

Your high on quotes and low on substance like most rappers masquerading as artists today.

It's getting serious for Rick Ross as OfficerRicky.com has been launched and Rick Ross' career is spiraling down.
The Game Riding With 50 Cent?
Recently Hip Hop artist, The Game was interviewed on Kube 93 where he talked about his new album, his up coming Seattle show, beating down Bow Wow in Madden 09, and the Rick Ross vs. 50 Cent beef.
During the interview the Game says that he is low key riding with 50 Cent for the first time since his falling out with G-Unit.
The former G-Unit member said on Kube 93, "For the first time in four years I'm siding with 50 Cent on this one... Ross call me, so I can get you out of this mess...50's eating you boy!"
The whole situation has gotten out of hand with that one video that 50 Cent released with Tia Kemp, the mother of Rick Ross' son.
50 Cent has also bought the rights to Tia Kemp's new book, "Tia's Diary: Deeper Than Rap" which is scheduled to release the same day as Rick Ross' album Deeper Than Rap.

Thisis50.com's Industry A$$hole has reported that inside sources at Island Def Jam report that L.A. Reid (Island Def Jam Chair), has told Rick Ross to shut up.
Reports claim that L.A. Reid has ordered Rick Ross to stop calling DJs and radio stations, with regard to his beef with 50 Cent.
Ouch, your label throws in the towel after a one week beef? Yea, your career might be over.
Rick Ross has just released a new single featuring John Legend entitled "Magnificent"... which I'll have to look for as I haven't heard it yet.
That being said, reports also say that the single is not being received well; receiving under 150 spins nationwide though it was released a week ago.
His music is being overshadowed by the beating his image is taking from 50 Cent. All his interviews have surrounded the beef.
This is how it starts, after that your irrelevant or severely diminished in star power.
It's clear that if a single with John Legend isn't getting radio play, you have a lot of work to do.

This is the full version of the Rick Ross, Miss Info interview.
Rick Ross explains how he "feels" about 50 Cent's rap career, which he says is over. Stating that 50 Cent isn't 20% of what he used to be.
He points out once again he feels that 50 is irrelevant in the south.

So it seems I was right and Officer Ricky...excuse me Rick Ross, will be yet another rapper on the 50 Cent R.I.P. list.

It's On: 50 Cent "Curtis" Vs. Rick Ross "Officer Ricky"
So it seems as if it's going down between hip hop heavyweights 50 Cent and Rick Ross. Rick Ross took a few shots at the rap mogul last week in a track released titled, "Mafia Music".
"I love to pay ya bills, can't wait to pay ya rent/ Curtis Jackson baby mama, I ain't looking for a cent/ Burn the house down, You gotta buy another/ Don't forget the gas can, jealous, stupid muthaf----r."
Ross is obviously referring to the fire incident which occurred in the mansion that 50 Cent's son was living with his mother, Shaniqua Tompkins. Ms. Tompkins prompted a controversy by accusing 50 Cent of orchestrating the plan to start a fire.
50 Cent has wasted no time in responding with his own lyrical assault in a track released on his community blog site thisis50.com:
Honestly I don't think this battle will help Rick Ross out much but I'm sure he said what he said to gain attention and not fall victim to irrelevance. Now that we know he wasn't the big drug dealer we need another reason to listen to him. 50 Cent is looking for this fight to build energy before his supposed final album, "Before I Self Destruct".
Ross probably won't come out this one unscathed, if he comes out at all but for now he definitely is not irrelevant.
